Flawless Victory Hits Jamaica

Flawless Victory, the joint EP from dancehall artistes Bay-C and Xyclone was released on March 1st, topping the USA Reggae iTunes charts, as well as landing the #28 spot on the USA top 200 iTunes charts.

The two acts immediately went on a USA east-coast promotional run, performing in Boston, Baltimore, Brooklyn and Bronx. Subsequently, they took the promo run to the UK with a sizzling performance in South London. The performance was so well received that it carried Flawless Victory to top the UK Reggae iTunes charts the following day.

However, to be a dancehall act and not release your project in Jamaica, the Mecca of Dancehall and Reggae, is a cardinal sin. Bay-C and Xyclone were not about to commit such a sin.

So on April 24, Flawless Victory was launched in Kingston.

The launch was hosted at Jangas Soundbar and Grill, in collaboration with BNM and the Super Heavy Wednesday series.

The night was an epic one, with various media houses and multiple celebrities attending in support. Artistes such as TOK, Spragga Benz, Don Yute, and Nitty Kutchie were all present and made cameo appearances during Bay-C and Xyclone’s set. Also legendary dancers Boysie and Collo made an impromptu performance to the EP’s first single Get Inna The Groove. Upcoming sensation Kacique, as well as TikTOK influencer and creator of the Get Inna The Groove dance challenge also blessed the stage.

With a phase two of the Flawless Victory Tour planed for Europe, Bay-C was quoted as saying, “this is just the tip of the iceberg. The idea for this project, from the get-go, was to take this EP to the world and that’s we are doing!”.
